Mr. Christopher L. Hawthorne, former president and owner of Breakthrough Solutions, LLC, merged with Intelligent Solutions for Information Systems (ISIS), LLC as part owner and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in March 2011.  Mr. Hawthorne brings a strong technical background ranging from software development to systems engineering and architecture over the last 15 years.  He has been acting as the Chief Engineer / Chief Technical Advisor in support of a US Army program for the last 7 years.  He focuses on continual process improvements and has a unique ability to solve very complex problems in today’s society.

Mr. Hawthorne’s reputation as an ambitious “go-getter” within the intelligence community enables ISIS to grow significantly over the next several years based on his extensive technical background and knowledge of opportunities in a number of DoD and emerging commercial markets.

He shares a common belief with Mr. Green, President & CEO of ISIS, that the employee and their families’ needs are paramount to that of the company.  After working for three different large defense contractors, Mr. Hawthorne is committed to retaining the small company “look and feel” that is so attractive to today’s workforce.

Mr. Hawthorne holds a BS in Mathematics and a BS in Computer Science from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania where he graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude.

Raised near Pittsburgh, PA, he is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and now resides in Columbia, MD with his wife, Andrea, newborn daughter, Layla Elizabeth, and Boston Terrier dog, Tyson.  When not working, Chris enjoys playing all types of sports including golf, basketball, and bowling.
